Domaine La Trochoire - Elisabeth Chenin Blanc 2022

A happy surprise. Through a customer that told me his parents live in the Loire, we were introduced to this parttime family project called La Trochoire. 100% Chenin Blanc from the village of Chinon. 

This is a rich, luxurious Chenin Blanc for the people that love their richer Chardonnays and Viogniers even. It's not a cheap wine, but it does offer tremendous value of a great, rich wine. 

Harvest was done via successive sorting. Direct pressing. Fermentation and aging in barrels for 12 months. Aging in vats for 3 months. Bottled in November 2023.
