Domaine Reniteo - Le Fleuve 2021

David Michelis started this domaine in 2021 after working for a while at Yves Cuilleron in the Northern Rhone. In the Côte Roannaise, it is mainly the Gamay Saint-Romain that produces great wines on granite soils. David currently has a hectare planted mainly with this Gamay Saint-Romain as well as Chardonnay and recently one hectare of Chenin.

This is a great Gamay with great depth, liveliness, spiciness and a nice natural touch, not in a funky way but in energy. Highly recommended!
