Jerôme Balmet - Tête de Citron 2019
Jerôme Balmet is a child of Beaujolais, growing up between the vines and destined to become what he became: a talented winemaker in his native Beaujolais. He is located in Vaux-en-Beaujolais and gained experienced while working for store favorites Marcel Lapierre and Jean-Claude Lapalu.
This Tête de Citron is fermented and aged in steel to retain freshness and is a beautiful, truly natural Gamay with meatiness, freshness and plenty of minerality. Reminiscent of the first Beaujolais' wines we fell in love with.
