Cyril Zangs - Cidre Brut 2021
Couldn't load pickup availability
Cyril Zangs is one of the most atypical cider producers in Normandy and works at an unprecedented level. He doesn't have a farm or cows, like many other producers, but a closet full of jazz records. His children don't go to agricultural school, but do classical ballet. He is the only one in Normandy to degorge all his ciders, by hand. That is, after the second fermentation in the bottle, he removes the yeast deposit, in order to obtain a completely clean drink that is even suitable for storage. Above all, he is a perfectionist and only the very best result counts. The best cider apples grown without pesticides or fertilizers, only the wild yeasts from the orchard are used, no added sulfite, this is real natural cider.
It doesn't get any better than this if you are looking for the hearty, big flavored ciders from Normandy.
NB: the picture is of the 2019 cidre, this is the 2021
