Domaine Reniteo - Nos Beaux Orages 2021

David Michelis started this domaine in 2021 after working for a while at Yves Cuilleron in the Northern Rhone. In the Côte Roannaise, it is mainly the Gamay Saint-Romain that produces great wines on granite soils. David currently has a hectare planted mainly with this Gamay Saint-Romain as well as Chardonnay and recently one hectare of Chenin Blanc.

This is his top wine, made from 100% Chardonnay from high altitude vineyards. Only 580 bottles made. Vinified and aged in demi-muid. Very small part new oak that imparts depth, richness and a good balance with the fresh acidity from these Cote Roannaise vineyards.
