Klaar Fruchtfermente - Mary Jane 2021

Have you ever heard of Piquette? It's an old way of reusing pressed grape skins by adding water and sugar and refermenting them. This way you end up with a low alcohol, refreshing drink. In this case, Hamburg based Klaar Fruchtfermente did so with apples, creating what they call a Pomquette.

Pressed apple skins, refermented with water and sugar with addition of Arianne and Cascade hops. Giving it a refreshing smell that far away is somewhat reminiscent of well... You might know what the name Mary Jane implies :) 4% alcohol, the perfect Sunday afternoon drink.
