L'arbre aux Abeilles - Hydromel Bulles d'Eté

We confess, we haven't tasted all of them, but this must be the best honey mead in the world, right? This one, together with the lighter style, white label mead by the same producer.

As our friends at Au Jus put it: "Yves Elie, the producer and beekeeper, refers to this hydromel as "Summer Bubbles," made specifically "for thirst" – and we couldn't agree more! Made using “plain” polyfloral honey, with a woody (from low elevation) tone, as a result of bees at low elevations feasting mainly on chestnut trees."

Making this one a slightly darker style than the more floral white label. We can't choose and love them both.
