Envinate - Taganan Blanco 2023

What a breathtaking wine is this, directly from the Atlantic coast in Tenerife where the old, old vines are growing in volcanic soil. This is 'a sense of place' pur sang, you can clearly taste all these influences in this wine. The seaspray adds a layer of saltiness and minerality to the wine that makes it a perfect companion with shrimp, oyster or grilled fish dishes. Envínate has been one of our favorite wineries since opening up shop and continues to amaze with their breathtaking wines. 

Excellent value too, especially given that the Táganan vineyard is only reachable on horseback or foot(!). This is the highly appreciated 2023 vintage..
