Julien Auroux - Bergerac Rouge 2023

Julien Auroux is a young winemaker that has taken over the family winery in Bergerac. The family business had somewhat fallen into disrepair under his father's reign and he is no slowly rebuilding the vineyards into production. All under organic viticulture, with hands off winemaking. Spontaneously fermentation and all 100% in steel tanks for a his cuvees. The top cuvée is even named after it: sans boi, ni loi. No barrels, no laws.

This Bergerac Rouge is a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. This is made for drinking young, as said from stainless steel. Crispy, earthy and fruity at once. A well balanced, beautiful drinker.
