Villa Rubini - Orange Ramato Pinot Grigio Corte del Tasso

A delicious, easy orange wine made from organic, wild fermented Pinot Grigio in Friuli. Villa Rubini is an old school winery that is slowly moving into the direction of natural wine. Not because winemaker hadn't been convinced earlier, but because he needs to sell his wines. When he visited our store in Haarlem he told us he had been making orange wine in the 90's, after tasting them at the nearby Radikon, but he hadn't sold a single bottle. We're happy to see he is rediscovering orange wines, and at this price point it's a steal!

Mineral driven, soft red fruits, rounded edges, a thirst quencher.
