AMI - Bourgogne Aligoté 2022 Les Péteurs

AMI is a relatively new domain by Paul Marchand and Willy Roulendes, two young guys that are following the new wave of winemakers in the Burgundy such as Pattes-Loup, De Moor, Lilian Duplessis in creating pure terroir wines without alterations. Willy has worked for 7 years for Domaine de Montille and Paul for Domaine Hauvette in the Provence. Their dear friend and mentor Fred Cossard has have been influenced by his artisanal and natural style of winemaking. 

This Aligoté is one of the best we've had. Not if you're looking for classical Burgundy, not if you're looking for freaky natural wines. It is, if you are, like us, looking for that field of tension between those two extremes. Unfiltered, pure and an expression of terroir; a sense of Place.

This is mineral driven, rich Aligoté with a hint of caramel, a yeasty note and beautiful acidity. We believe that AMI, in a few years time, will be a rare and highly sought after domaine, it's that good.
